Enjoy the Moment!

Fourscore and twenty years ago some scrub was born, and they called him Tino.
No, I'm not going to refer to myself in the third person the whole time...If you want to know what I'm about, I feel that my blog is a pretty good representation of who I am. Am currently attending Stephen F. Austin State. Phi Mu Alpha, and music keep me sane!

If you click this, i think you can ask me something or something....

Hey everyone. I made a 8 bit re-versioning of For The First Time In Forever, from Frozen. I made it using this midi, and Logic Pro X’s Poly Synth. Let me know if you want me to make more 8 bit remakes, and I will try my best!

if frozen had a retro super nintendo game, this would play on the opening menu

YES I LOVE THIS!!!

Being a Christian doesn’t mean you have to be anti-science. I do believe in The Big Bang Theory, I just don’t think it’s funny or deserves six seasons.

What does it mean if a relative is “First Removed”?

When the word “removed” is used to describe a relationship, it indicates that the two people are from different generations. You and your first cousins are in the same generation (two generations younger than your grandparents), so the word “removed” is not used to describe your relationship.

The words “once removed” mean that there is a difference of one generation. For example, your mother’s first cousin is your first cousin, once removed. This is because your mother’s first cousin is one generation younger than your grandparents and you are two generations younger than your grandparents. This one-generation difference equals “once removed.”

Twice removed means that there is a two-generation difference. You are two generations younger than a first cousin of your grandmother, so you and your grandmother’s first cousin are first cousins, twice removed.

What the difference is between Aspirin, Acetaminophen, and Ibuprofin. What are the pros and cons of each drug and in what circumstances should I use one over the other?

Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). It is more selective for the enzyme that thins your blood (COX-1) than the one that relieves pain (COX-2). Therefore, it is more often used as prevention for heart attack/stroke (but only your doctor tells you to).

Ibuprofen (Advil) is also an NSAID. However, it mostly works on COX-2, so it does less blood thinning. It is often preferred for pain relief because it has fewer side effects than other NSAIDs (it can have some stomach upset, take it with food to help this). In general, it is pretty safe, unless you take it every day, have kidney problems, or are over the age of 65.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is not an NSAID, but it works in a similar way. It is often used for lowering fevers, especially in children. While it is extremely safe at low doses, it can be SUPER DANGEROUS to your liver if you go above 3-4 grams (FYI tablets usually come in 325 mg, extra strength tablets are 500 mg).

DO NOT TAKE TYLENOL WHILE/AFTER DRINKING ALCOHOL. Alcohol takes away an enzyme that turns Tylenol into something safe, so it has to go through a different pathway and becomes something really dangerous to your liver. If you are hung over, use ibuprofen instead.

TL;DR Why don’t you take aspirin to pick up girls with you? Because it’s a cox blocker.

How are flight numbers assigned, and are well-known numbers (like 370) “retired”?

The “route” is named. So the flight from New York to Atlanta will have some number assigned to it.

Yes, all of the flights in 9/11 were retired and new numbers assigned.
